CDCs Coverup MMR’s Link to Autism – Sept 2014

Some of you may have heard of Dr. Andrew Wakefield.  He is the Dr. who, through the encouragement of his patients’ parents in 1998, reported his discoveries on intestinal disease in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Based upon the medical histories of the children, he discovered a link between their disease and their autistic regression to the MMR vaccine.  He has since been subjected to relentless personal and professional attacks in the media, from government, doctors, and the pharmaceutical industry.  Every aspect of his research was ridiculed using outright deception about how his data was collected and his methods of research.  However he remains highly regarded by many in the Autism community due to his dedication, courage and integrity.  We now have another opportunity to address the truth of the link between the MMR vaccine and autism thanks to a whistleblower from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Dr. William Thompson.

On August 27, 2014 Dr. Wm Thompson came forward to admit the role he played in covering up the link between the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccine and autism.  Dr. Thompson contacted Dr. Brian Hooker, a PhD scientist and father of a vaccine-injured child, early in 2014; communicating to him that the CDC had committed egregious fraud in 2004 when it gave the MMR vaccine a free pass regarding its link to autism.  Dr. Wm. Thompson was quoted as saying, “I have great shame now when I meet families with kids with autism because I have been part of the problem. . . It’s the lowest part of my career that I went along with that paper; I’m not going to lie, I basically have stopped lying.”

One study showed that African-American boys receiving the MMR vaccine were 340% more likely to develop autism if vaccinated before 36 months of age.  (Note that the standard vaccine schedule issued by the CDC requires babies to have the MMR vaccine by their first birthday.)  CDC researchers manipulated the data to hide and minimize the statistical relationship between the age of administration of the vaccine and increased risk of autism in African-American boys. This was achieved by discarding the data of trial participants in the metropolitan Atlanta area who didn’t have valid Georgia birth certificates and also excluded subjects with low birth-weight (the majority of which were….you guessed it…. African American).  Some groups of study subjects contained such low numbers that it makes one wonder why they didn’t choose to expand the study population to subjects beyond the Atlanta area.  Can you say, “cooking the books?”

You would think that this would be breaking news but I have yet to see this reported by mainstream media.  Perhaps even more disturbing is that many pages on the internet that contain analysis of the actual data in “lay” terms most of us can understand have been disappearing like a demented game of whack a mole.  It’s undeniable that there are some very powerful interests at stake here.  Now that it has come to light that the vaccine manufacturers and the CDC knew of the connection between the MMR vaccine and Autism Spectrum Disorder for at least ten years, the lawsuits are certain to begin.  It would appear that this is exactly what they were trying to avoid all along.

How many children were injured because of greed? Let’s take a look at a selection of Autism rates:

 1985: 1 in 2500. * 2000: 1 in 500  *  2004: 1 in 166 *  2009: 1 in 91.  According to the CDC’s own statistics, the present rate is 1 in 68. When do we STAND UP and say, “Enough is enough?!”

I’m not saying that the MMR vaccine is the sole cause of Autism.  I suspect it also has some connection with increasingly toxic pesticides, GMOs, chemical food additives, and even geo-engineering. But if this kind of maleficent cover up is going on in the medical industry, who are supposed to be saving lives and protecting people, one must suppose the same is happening in the food, chemical, biotechnology, and agricultural industries.

If you Google Dr. Wakefield’s name today you will still see many links spreading corporate sponsored lies about him and discrediting his work. You will even see a special ad with his photo and a character assassination stating, “Andrew Jeremy Wakefield is a British former surgeon and medical researcher, known for his fraudulent 1998 research paper in support of the now-discredited claim that there is a link between the MMR vaccine, and the appearance of autism and bowel disease.”  Well I say, “Thank you Dr. Wakefield! You always followed the truth no matter how detrimental it was to you and your career.”  Perhaps Dr. William Thompson’s confession will help restore Dr. Wakefield’s reputation.  Time shall tell who will wear the label of ‘fraud’ and who will be ‘discredited’.
