Harry Hoxsey
Some years ago I read a book called, “When Healing Becomes a Crime” by Kenny Ausubel. It is the true story of Harry Hoxsey, who used an herbal recipe passed down from his great-grandfather to cure cancer in America from the 1920s to the 1960s. This book documented and exposed the politics of the medical establishment that prevents promising alternative cancer therapies from being implemented in the United States. Harry Hoxsey was continually harassed, arrested, (157 times in 16 months) labeled a Charlatan and had his clinics shut down by the AMA until he was eventually run out of the country. Although Harry Hoxsey is dead now, one of his clinics is still in existence in Mexico. It is called The Bio-Medical Center (Hoxsey Clinic). Doctors and oncologists will treat you with herbs there for a small fraction of what allopathic medicine charges for cancer therapy.
Although cancer is not my specialty, as an herbalist, I deal more in autoimmune diseases and fibromyalgia, but both my parents died of cancer and I found the alternative therapies quite compelling. As I studied various holistic cancer treatments there seemed to be that same thread of suppression and bigotry toward the holistic cure of cancer woven through every narrative. Doctors, nurses and practitioners who successfully employed these therapies were condemned, publically discredited and threatened with arrest and imprisonment. It seems from my research into this phenomenon, the level of success they had in treating cancer patients was directly correlated to the level of persecution they suffered from the medical institution. These dedicated individuals were labeled “snake oil salesman” and “quacks” no matter how many successful case histories they presented. Their patient’s testimonies fell on the deaf ears of “established medicine”.
Rene Caisse’s Suppressed Cancer Cure
Rene Caisse was a Canadian nurse who discovered Essiac tea. While treating an elderly patient she noticed a scar on her breast and inquired about it. She was told by her patient that she’d had breast cancer some 30 years ago and was cured by an ancient Ojibway Indian herbal formula. Rene Cassie discovered that this formula worked on all forms of cancer. She spent her life treating and curing cancer patients under the constant threat of arrest and imprisonment and closure of her clinic. In 1938, 55,000 supporters petitioned the Ontario government in attempt to pass a law to let Rene treat cancer patients without fear of arrest. This bill failed by only three votes. This was in no small part due to the collusion between the Canadian Medical Association and the newly formed Cancer Commission.
Max Gerson’s Suppressed Cancer Cure
Max Gerson, was a Polish doctor who treated all illnesses including cancer with a raw food plant based detoxification diet. Dr. Albert Schweitzer said this of Dr. Gerson: “I see in Dr. Max Gerson one of the most eminent geniuses in medical history.” But Dr Gerson was under constant scrutiny from the AMA who offered him only the most terminally ill cancer patients to cure. He was shockingly poisoned twice in his life. The first time by his secretary who slipped him arsenic then stole his manuscript. He recovered from his first poisoning due to his healthy lifestyle, allowing him to recreate his stolen book: Max Gerson: A Cancer Therapy: results of fifty cases (1958) After his book was published he was poisoned once again by a person unknown but this time it was fatal. His daughter Charlotte carries on his work.
Dr. Stanislaw Burzynsk’s Highly Regulated Cancer Cure
Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski is a polish born doctor and researcher, who came to America and practices out of Houston Texas. He developed a very successful protocol for brain cancer called, Antineoplastons. The FDA spent 50 million dollars on decades of persecution via indictments through the courts including six grand jury trials, with no convictions. The FDA turned a deaf ear to the pleas of his many patients who begged to not be denied this life saving treatment. He is still practicing but he is only allowed to do so in the state of Texas.
I see bona fide beauty in simplicity, and to that end, many people are coming forward claiming they have beat stage 4 cancers using the baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) method developed by Dr Mark Sircus and also Dr Tullio Simoncini. The assertion is that baking Soda increases the body’s alkalinity and cancer cannot survive in an alkaline or oxygenated environment. Baking soda provides both alkalinity and oxygenation, plus it kills candida. Dr. Simoncini says that cancer is a fungus that originates from candida.
One of the easiest Baking Soda therapies that you can use all by your self is as follows: Mix 1 level teaspoon Baking Soda and 1 teaspoon Molasses in 1 cup warm water. Drink once or twice daily.
A friend of mine who had a recurrence of her bladder cancer did this for less than a month and discovered at her follow-up appointment that her tumor had either dissolved or was too small to see.
This is circumstantial evidence at best but unfortunately that is all we have because these therapies are allowed to die on the vine. All that needs to be done is for the AMA, FDA, ACS is to refuse to do clinical trials, studies or tests and these therapies are considered UNPROVEN…and doctors can’t use unproven, unsanctioned therapies no matter how well they work.
It goes without saying, anyone who is diagnosed with cancer has a very personal and very momentous decision to make as to how they choose to treat it. Don’t you think that these and other healthy choices should be made available to them? These are therapies that the typical individual can start doing before their next doctor’s appointment. This is knowledge that can save lives! We believe the FDA is here to protect us but in fact they only protect the interests of big industry and their own incestuous relationship with it. They allow produce to be sprayed with chemicals that are so poisonous (a derivative of Agent Orange) all workers who use it must wear protective gear. Then magically it becomes safe for us to consume. However the FDA finds it vital to violently raid organic farms and holistic clinics in record numbers.
Why do we tolerate a medical industry that wants to keep us, scared, sick and ignorant?
