Lori Jacobs established The Healing Path in 1995 when she discovered there was no allopathic treatment for her daughter who was very ill with Epstein Barr. Lori decided to dig back into her roots and use the herbal knowledge she’d acquired from her father’s friend, a Ute Indian and her Norwegian grandmother.
Concentrating on the safest herbs that balanced and strengthened the endocrine (immune) system, she made an herbal tincture she called Endocrine Strengthener. This helped her daughter who was back to normal in about a month’s time.
At this point Lori, for 11 years had a condition called Alopecia Totalis, an autoimmune disease that attacked hair follicles. She had no hair, eyebrows or eyelashes. Lori started taking the Endocrine Strengthener too, in hopes that it would minimize the many colds that she was dealing with. To her astonishment, her hair, eyebrows and lashes grew back. As it turned out that Endocrine Strengthener has had a positive effect on all autoimmune disorders.
